An event titled “The constitution: a guarantee of a free and prosperous life” was held at the Head office of Trustbank. It was attended by employees of the financial institution and officials from regional banking service offices, who joined via videoconference.
Speaking at the event, J.Shermukhamedova – a member of the Women's public council of the Republic of Uzbekistan, an expert at the Republican Center for spirituality and enlightenment, a member of the “Ma'rifat” propagandists society, a doctor of philosophy and a professor – discussed the substance and significance of he newly revised Constitution. It was emphasized that the Constitution is the guarantor of human rights and freedoms, state sovereignty, the principles of peace and harmony in society, and the implementation of large-scale reforms in all spheres of our lives. For 33 years, it has served as an important foundation for democratic reforms, economic modernization, and social transformations.
The event covered the history of the Constitution's adoption, the amendments made to it, the essence and significance of the new revision, and its relevance today. It was also noted that our Basic Law establishes the necessary principles for young people to receive an education, acquire a profession, and develop into intellectually and spiritually mature individuals, and that this is yielding practical results.
