Today, August 24, the first International Silk Road Finance & Technology Forum began its work at the CAEx Uzbekistan complex in Tashkent.

The Forum, organized by the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN), brings together representatives of the financial sector, fintech companies, investors, founders of technology startups, and representatives of government agencies. Discussions are centered on topics such as open banking, digital assets, cross-border payments, artificial intelligence and Islamic finance, fintech, technology, investment, and international cooperation.


Trustbank Private Joint-Stock Bank is also taking part in the Forum, presenting its banking services and products. In addition, the Bank is providing detailed information about mobile applications offering “online banking” services for legal entities and individuals.

It should be noted that the Forum, which will run until August 26, has drawn more than 4,000 participants from over 75 countries. Discussions are being held at the CAEx Uzbekistan complex as well as at the Center for Islamic Civilization.
