As previously reported, “World savings day” is currently being observed in our country at the initiative of the Central bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan. As part of this week-long event, the private joint-stock bank “Trustbank” is organizing various activities across different regions.
Financial literacy classes were conducted in the bank’s libraries in the capital, specifically in the educational centers of “Bo‘ston”, “Beltepa”, “Al-Khorazmiy”, “Kamolon darvoza”, “Gulobod”, “Beshqayragoch” and “Iyk ota” neighborhoods. Presentations were given to students on the topic “Saving – the key to financial freedom”. The discussions covered methods of saving money and their benefits, as well as how to open online deposits. Moreover, essential advice was provided on developing cyber awareness and avoiding internet fraud.
Additionally, young people who actively participated in these events were awarded commemorative gifts from the bank.
