Today, information security and cyber threats are becoming increasingly pressing issues. Cyberattacks can lead to a number of serious consequences, such as financial losses and data corruption. In this regard, it is advisable to conduct awareness-raising activities among the population on this matter.
A seminar on “Current cyber threats and factors leading to cybercrimes” was held at the private joint-stock bank “Trustbank”. A presentation was delivered by Iqbol Turgunov, prosecutor of the Center for assisting in combating cybercrime and digital investigation at the law enforcement academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At the seminar, it was emphasized that today cyber threats pose a danger not only to information systems but also to the rights of citizens. Moreover, focus was placed on issues such as the most common cybersecurity threats, their prevention and solutions.
Additionally, explanations were provided on the factors contributing to the formation of modern cybersecurity, as well as effective methods for ensuring information security in commercial banks.
Furthermore, comprehensive answers were given to questions raised by the participants.
