The establishment of libraries by the private joint-stock bank “Trustbank” in a number of mahallas of the capital is contributing not only to enriching the cultural and educational life of these areas, but also to fostering a reading culture among the younger generation, broadening their worldview, and developing their ability to think independently. Moreover, these places serve as venues for conducting various spiritual and educational events, open lessons, as well as exchanging knowledge and experience in mahallas.
One such event aimed at developing the intellectual potential of young people took place in the “Beltepa” mahalla of the Shaykhantakhur district of the capital. It was attended by officials from PJSB “Trustbank”, mahalla’s representatives, and students of secondary school № 314.
During the event, an open lesson was held on the story “Shum bola” by the poet and writer Gafur Gulom and the novel “Kecha va Kunduz” by Abdulhamid Cholpon. The plot, characters, and spiritual significance of these works were deeply analyzed. The features of artistic devices and language were also highlighted.
During the lesson, which was conducted in the form of an open dialogue, students had the opportunity to express their opinions and engage in lively discussions about the literary works. The boys and girls who actively participated were awarded commemorative gifts and a collection of books by “Trustbank”.
